- During the afternoon, Rebecca finds herself alone in her apartment. She decided to reserve this moment to prepare for the interview at Shaw Group. However, her concentration is abruptly interrupted by the intercom ringing.
- "Hi!" she says when she answers.
- "Miss Jenkins, there are visitors for you," the doorman informs her. "They identified themselves as Martina and Robert Halgrave."
