Chapter 14 " I Don't Know If He Still Loves Me

• While in the taxi, Rebecca reflected on the things she heard from Alex. She decided to go home and confront her parents. When she arrived home, her mother was on the porch, she walked up to her mother and collapsed into her arms.
• "Mom, what's wrong? Why are you like this?" she asked.
• "Peter, he cheated on me, mom. He cheated on me because I didn't want to sleep with him the night I arrived. I'm such an idiot, I planned everything to be perfect. I was so reckless, mom," she lowered her gaze in shame. "I was so devastated that I just drank these past few nights. I spent these nights with a stranger. I lost my virginity to a man whose name I only found out the next day."
