Caspian sat in silence, his mind filled with the thoughts of Aurora's demand. He bowed his head as the weight of Aurora's words pressed him down. The thought of how a prestigious CEO like himself will all of a sudden turn into an errand boy hurt his pride and self-esteem really hard. He tightened his fist, and he tried to reduce his thoughts; he was at a loss for words and didn't know how to respond to Aurora.
Without uttering a word, he stood up with his pride degraded from the seat and walked towards the door; his movements were hard. However, as he made his way to the door, Aurora's voice echoed deeply and sharply behind him. “Don't forget, Caspian, you only have three days to get back to me!” Hearing that, he halted his steps to decide what Aurora had said, still maintaining his position without turning to Aurora.
Caspian tightened his lips, clenched his fist without uttering any words, finally made a move, and walked out of Aurora's office.
