Chapter 18

• Aurora woke up the following morning with thoughts of Caspian. Looking around the gigantic bed with its white bedspread, she realized she was no longer with him. She stood up from the bed, walked towards the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and washed her face thoroughly. When she left her room, she was shocked to see a housekeeper waiting patiently at her doorstep.
• "Good morning, young mistress. I am here to inform you that your breakfast is ready! I will walk you to the dining room; madam is already waiting,” the housekeeper said. Aurora was shocked, wondering why the housekeeper had waited until she left the room.
• “If I stay with Mum for too long, I will definitely add a lot of weight," she thought and smiled as she followed the housekeeper to the dining table. She met Seraphine, drinking hot coffee and listening to the news on the television.
