Chapter 44 Onyx

• Deep within Bellinor's mind, Onyx woke up sleepily. As he observed his surroundings, he realized he was in a large pit of complete darkness. Restlessly, he paced in circles, howling and barking in an attempt to reach his human counterpart.
• “Bellinor!” he called, but was met with utter silence.
• “What is the meaning of this? Am I truly nothing to you?” he bellowed with all his might, but still, there was no response. Had his counterpart really discarded him just like that, after being together for seventy-six years?
