Chapter 42

• Liam was livid when he arrived at school to pick the boys up. The bruises on Xolo's face made his blood boil, and to crown it all, it was Kevin and his friends' fault. He had forced the kids to apologize to Xolo and promised never to do it again or he'll involve their parents.
• As he drove them back home, he gripped the steering wheel tightly, trying to control his anxiety. He was worried about Chelsea; he wasn't sure how she was going to react to this.
• Immediately they arrived home, Xolo rushed to his mommy and hugged her tightly. Chelsea held him close as Liam approached them, his jaw clenched, ready to provide an explanation for the unfortunate event.
