Chapter 30

• Liam hurried towards the man, pulling him away from Chelsea; his fist connected with the man's jaw, a satisfying thud filling the room. The man staggered backward, momentarily falling to the ground. Seizing the opportunity, Liam rushed to her side.
• "Chelsea, are you okay?" Liam asked urgently, his eyes scanning her for any signs of injury.
• She nodded weakly, still catching her breath. "Liam, he came out of nowhere. I didn't see it coming."
