• My gaze wandered around the room, and the only person who caught my eye was Henry. I never expected him to be there, out of everyone.
• As they bombarded me with questions, I realized for the first time that people cared about me. Besides my family, they genuinely cared. It was a new experience for me to see people showing concern.
• "I'm okay, but... who are all of you?" I asked, taking them by surprise. I knew my question would throw them off guard.
