Chapter 24 Ben

• I’m so happy to finally be able to walk around not only the pack house, but the pack lands.  Don’t get me wrong.  I’m extremely happy to have found my mate and to have Ford claim me, but if I had to stay in our bedroom much longer, I think I would have gone crazy.  Well, that would be after Ford made love to me all night long. 
• However, now, I can actually start to learn about my pack more.  Shoot.  I’m still shocked that my family is always a High Elder here.  I’m still trying to figure out how the pack worked when my mother wasn’t here, but mom did say that she was in constant contact with the Supreme Elder.  I’m sure that part of it was doing pack business.  Even though she was part of dad’s pack, mom never really left her pack ever.  She is still a High Elder.  That blows my mind. 
• I walk down the hallway towards the room where the elders will be training both Kane and me.  The elders realize that our lessons with them is just as important as our fighting lessons.  So, to be able to accommodate doing both each day and not require Ford to have a special training session for Kane, my parents and me, the elders have decided that we will go to them first thing in the morning for a bit before going to the training grounds to learn fighting.  Then we will go back to the elders at night for a couple hours.
