Chapter 20 Ben

• I think my heat is finally gone.  For the first time since I got here, I’m finally waking up with a clear head.  Also, I don’t have the underlying desire to have Ford fill me with his seed.  I’m not complaining, but I would like to actually talk with my parents and finish meeting the rest of the pack. 
• I roll towards the nightstand near me.  A small smile glides across my face.  Ah, it is about 7am.  I have plenty of time to get a quick shower and tell my parents to come to my room.  I still don’t really trust myself, even though I feel like my heat is done.  I don’t want to go to the dining hall and then have my heat begin while I’m in the middle of a room full of werewolves.  I know that only my mate will be attracted to me now that I’m mated, but I also know that unmated werewolves will also be affected.  I don’t want to take the risk. 
• I quickly link to my mother, “Mom, I think I’m fine this morning for you to come visit me and meet my mate.  I’ll ask Kane and Alpha Wyatt to show you the way.”
