• The gifts and flowers he kept sending only made me laugh. He was a funny man. He would rather apologize with gifts instead of saying it verbally. Well, at least he apologized. He would have gotten away with it and I wouldn’t been able to do anything about the situation even if I wanted. I was thankful for his thoughtfulness.
• “He still has to apologize verbally. I will not give him an easy pass”, I told myself and prepared to push him to the wall.
