• "Killian I-I," Brynn stuttered. In fear of what he would do, she hated this cold drive between them, but she knew the cat was out of the bag and it was no longer a secret.
• She felt like she was caught in a nightmare; this wasn’t how she wanted him to find out, and she could feel the raw rage radiating off him as he stared her down.
