• "Hello? Did I interrupt your conversation?" Brynn asked, feeling like she had walked into something she wasn’t supposed to, and with Nanny Danielle's hostility towards her, she must have been right on the mark.
• "Oh, of course not," Danielle countered as she cleaned off her hand. "I and Killian were just catching up since it’s been over a year since she dropped by," she explained, surprising Brynn.
• But Killian just shrugged and passed Danielle by. "You know I’m always busy, Danielle," he said as he gave Brynn an easy smirk as he too had changed into more casual wear.
