• Five long years, and we never found Scarlet. I know, and I can feel that she's still alive. Carl has not been the same ever since. Maybe he felt guilty. As for me, I've longed to see her again. But it pained me that she was with another man.
• I started feeling severe pain in my chest two years ago. It was Scarlet's birthday, to be exact, and I am not stupid not to know what she was doing that time for three days. I thought it was the beginning of my slow death, but thankfully, that didn't happen frequently. I think she and whoever that man is were not together. They often see each other, but when they do, they make sure to make the most of it.
