• As soon as the goblins got out of the fortress, Videl charged forward. Being a rank 5 monster and that of a higher grade, the rank 4 goblins were easily delt with. As usual, Videl put most of his focus on snatching the cores. As a result, there wasn't blood after the massacre, there were just bodies and nothing more.
• As Videl killed even more, his power continued rising. Unlike Alex and others who's power would be stagnant until they broke through to the next stage, Videl's power was increasing continuously the more core he consumed. The more cores consumed, the more sealed that were being unlocked. That simply meant that Videl wasn't having a breakthrough but had recovered his strength to that particular level.

Well, Alex didn't fave any bottleneck that took him long to break. If he encountered a bottleneck, a single core of a higher stage would be enough for him to have a breakthrough.
