Chapter 56 The Temptation Of Forbidden Allure

  • Stepping into the break room and closing the door behind them, the composed and impeccably dressed facade of William Blake shattered instantly. Excitedly, he pinned Jane against the door with both hands. In her feigned astonishment, he restrained himself from forcibly kissing her; instead, he breathed heavily while gazing closely into her eyes and spoke in a gentle, deliberately seductive tone, "Little lady, you've tossed my heart into a frenzy. It can't find peace at all. What do you propose we do about that?"
  • Jane looked at him, biting her lip in silence before whispering softly, "I… I don't know... Maybe I should just stay away from you in the future?" As she uttered these words, tears welled up in her eyes, clinging to her lashes. In the silence that followed from William Blake, she added, "Uncle, are you still angry with me?
