• Two months later
• I resumed at the office on Jada's last day at the office.

• "I will talk to you later" Jason said to the person he was speaking to and hung up the phone "So, what did she say?"
• "Her mind is made up Jason. Let her go. I didn't talk to her about it"
• Jason sighed and looked at me worriedly "She's the only person that I trust after you"
• "The job interview is tomorrow and I'm sure that you will recruit someone as good as her before the end of the day"
• He nodded and I walked out of his office to mine in order to start my job for the day.
• Some minutes later, someone came inside my office and I looked up from the file that I was going through
• "Hey Cynthia" I said and got out of my seat in order to give her a hug
• "You didn't tell me that you will be resuming today"

• She scanned my office for almost a minute before asking "And where is Maxwell?"

• "Okay. I have to go now"
• "Okay. We will meet at lunch"

• Jada came in at that moment with two boxes which were filled with files and dropped it at one corner
• "I will be expecting you at lunch" Cynthia shouted as she walked out of the office
• "Everything is here" Jada said while pointing at the boxes
• "Okay Jada. Thank you"

• I went back to the file that I was working on when she left until it was lunch break
• My phone rang, it was Cynthia and I picked it up
• "Hello" she said

• "Are you still coming for lunch?"

• A hand reached out for my phone and I fell out of my chair in fear.
• "She is not coming" a familiar voice said and I looked up to see Jason standing inside my office, with my phone placed on his ear
• I got up angrily and took my phone from him "This is no longer funny"

• "Yeah he is" I told her "You're one of the few people that he trusts"
• She smiled and looked at me "I know but I just have to move on"

• She dropped the keys "And you too"
• She passed through the adjoining door to Jason's office, said her bye and left
• After she left, I walked into Jason's office to see him pouring himself a glass wine.
• "Wine?" He asked
• "Yeah" I replied as I was walking to one of the chairs that was facing his
• He handed me a glass of wine and walked to his seat.
• "I know why she's leaving" he said as he took a sip out of his wine
• I raised an eyebrow and asked "Why?"
• "Because she loves me" he replied with a shrug
• Wow, so Jason knew all along that Jada loves him. I thought

• "Sounds like her. When was that?"
• "When you brought me back here"

• "I'm sorry for causing you so much pain"

• Jason eyes lit up when he realized what I was up to and he also gulped down the rest of his wine
