• I walked out of the house and my mind was still tangled in the scenario that unfolded last night. The payment and everything, I could still feel the shock that swooshed through me when she handed over thirty thousand dollars to me just like that.
• How was she able to come up with such a hefty amount of money when her back account was frozen? I also couldn't bring myself to accept that probably her new place of work might have given her the money but it was very impossible, they couldn't do such a thing.
