Chapter 9 Evil Woman

• The cold night wind did not in the least cool Leo's feelings. Maya, lying weak and covered in blood, looked at him with eyes that were growing increasingly heavy.
• "Are you okay?" Maya asked in a weak and stuttering whisper that only Leo could hear. Maya forced a smile as sweet as possible so that Leo would not be sad.
• Leo could only answer with panic and shaking his head. He couldn't believe Maya had helped him, even sacrificed her life for him. Why did this woman do something so brave for a stranger like him?
