Chapter 13 Stay At Home Wife

• After arriving at the apartment, Maya opened her suitcase and rearranged all the contents. She immediately took the dirty clothes to the kitchen area and put them all in the side-opening washing machine located near the pantry. Her wound was still sore, for sure, but she didn't want Adam to know and worry about it.
• Done with the laundry, Maya returned to the room and tidied up the remaining items. She put her marriage certificate back into the file holder. She then double-checked her handbag's contents and ensured everything was there. She didn't forget to take out the carcass of her phone wrapped in a zipper plastic and put it on the nightstand.
• "Your phone is broken?" Adam asked Maya after he came out of the bathroom, about to take his casual clothes. The dark-haired man was slightly surprised by the coincidence that happened to them.
