• Fractured heart.
• Daniela's heart pounded as she parked in front of Alexander's sprawling estate. The weight of her parents' rejection still pressed heavily on her chest, and the sight of the massive house amplified her anger. The grandeur of the mansion felt suffocating, a reminder of the choice that had cost her everything. Holding Noah's hand,she leaned down and whispered, her voice trembling , “ Stay close to me , baby,” She kissed the top of his head, drawing strength from his innocence. The butler greeted her at the door,and ushered her inside with a polite nod. The interior radiated wealth,from the gleaming marble floors to the furniture in the house. Everything screamed luxury, but to Daniela it felt like she was captured in a cage.
• When she reached Alexander's office, She found him resting behind a large desk with a glass of whiskey in his hand. His tailored navy suit was immaculate , but his eyes were as cold and unreadable as ever. At the sound of her footsteps,he looked up , his sharp gaze locking onto her face . “ What's wrong?” He asked , his tone sharp and direct. Daniela released Noah's hand and gestured for him to sit on the couch by the door before stepping further into the room. “ I told my parents about us”,she began, her voice strained. Alexander leaned back in his chair , sipping his drink lazily. “ And?”
