• The effects of Clara's dismissal were fast and immediate. Daniela's office seemed to be the talk of the town as she heard everyone gossiping about how Clara was sacked and that. For Daniela,the day had gone in a twinkle of an eye, which always anticipated Richard's next move. Daniela sat at her desk, Scanning through the reports from her team when the sound of footsteps echoed outside her office. The person opened the door without a knock,and one of her workers Praise entered, her Sharp feet clicking the floor. In her hand was a tablet, gripped so tightly her knuckles were white. “ Have you seen this?” praise asked, her voice sensing a feeling of anger. She rolled the tablet onto Daniela's desk. Daniela was shocked at what she saw as she picked it up. The screen displayed an article from a prominent business news outlet, it's headline Written in bold lines . “ Leaked internal Memo suggests instability at enterprises”. Below the headline was a leaked memo that showed plans that Daniela had crafted to combat Richard's plan. Daniela became extremely angry as she read it . “ How did this get out? She asked her tone low and laced with anger. Praise crossed her arms,her face filled with intense Frustration. “ Clara . Who else? That girl is a bloody snitch and she always collaborates with Richard and his evil plans. She must have leaked it before you fired her. The timing is too perfect to be a coincidence”. Daniela set the tablet down, and looked through praise face as she drew nearer to her. “ Clara access was cancelled the moment I terminated her. There's no way she could've sent this after”.
• Praise raised an eyebrow. “ Then she planned this in advance. She was covering her attitude, manipulating you even before you confronted her. The realization hit Daniela like a punch in her chest. Clara did not just betray her, She had planned this as a final act of defiance.
