• They walked down the short hallway toward his bedroom, and as they entered the small space, adorned with dinosaur decals and cozy stories, she felt a sense of calm wash over her. A world filled with bright colors and whimsical adventures awaited here, far removed from the burdens of adult life.
• “First, let’s stuff Mr. Dilly under the covers,” Charlotte said, reaching for the teddy bear that had been Leo’s companion since he was born. As she tucked the stuffed animal in beside him, she felt a tender warmth grow within her as Leo nestled in against it.
