Chapter 24

• Anabelle was frantic as she held an unconscious Melvin in her arms and raced down from the rooftop. His body was so cold and the only indication that he was still alive was the faint raising and falling of his chest, he must have been on the rooftop all this while and caught a cold, she had to get him warm.
• She almost collided into Mason on her way to her room.
• "Anabelle, I have been trying to reach you but..." His voice trailed off when he saw Melvin's limp form in her arms, "goodness, what happened to him?"
