Chapter 13 I Never Break My Promises

• Mandy could not get angry at her mom even though she felt a little bit of bitterness. All her life, she hates her father for abandoning them. Yet, it’s all a lie. But how could she blame her mom for telling her a lie? She has her reasons. She could not condemn her mom as well for loving a married man. If not, she would not exist in this world.
• Nonetheless, guilt feelings gnawed at her. She’s been unfair to all men. She blanketed her heart with hatred towards them. Suddenly, she thought of Andrew and everything she did to him. How could she face him now?
• Janeth Collins threw Mandy a troubled look. She could not say who her father was as she’s afraid that she would find him. It was her greatest fear ever since. However, she also thought that it was the right time to tell her daughter.
