Chapter 59
- Luciana's POV
- Müller’s eyes stayed on me, his smile still crooked, his gaze heavy as it lingered on my curves, my tight gown showing off every bit of me. I kept my smile up, charming and fake as hell, my heart pounding like a drum in my chest. His compliment—calling me stunning—burned in my ears, and I played it cool, but inside, I was a fucking mess. This was it—I’d caught his attention, just like Adrian wanted. Now what?
- He let out a low chuckle, his thick beard twitching, and leaned in a little closer, his voice dropping like we were sharing a secret. “You know, Luciana,” he said, his accent wrapping around my name, making it sound heavier, “I got somethin’ special for my birthday this year. A new yacht—big, shiny, fuckin’ gorgeous. Just sittin’ out in the harbor, waitin’ for me to break her in.”
