• After several attempts of father trying to get me to move back home, he eventually accepts his fate and my decision on living alone.
• An official car, an apartment and a wardrobe allowance. Of course I accept the offer, in fact with so much joy. I resume today and I can’t wait to turn heads and bag deals. The red suit dress at the far end of the closet stares at me with so much longing. This is a statement piece and a statement I want to make. I grab the dress and my five inch black red bottom pump from my closet and head over to the giant standing mirror in my room. I packed my hair into a messy bun and left out some tendrils by the side.
• Once I’m done with my dress and shoe, I slap on a minimal amount of make-up and apply my glossy lipgloss. Since my dress was screaming attention, I went with very simple earrings and necklace. It's not like I'm modelling for a runway fashion show so I didn't want to go overboard with the outfit. I grab a plastic for my French toast and apple and head to work. Jamila would join me tomorrow. When I told her about her coming to work as my assistant, she didn't twice. She gladly accepted the offer. I have to have a trusted hand on deck. I park in the space beside the reserved CEO parking spot and grab my bag, laptop and lunch pack.
