• Kayden looks furious but I still follow him out of the hotel anyways. I was surprised when I saw Jack’s call earlier telling me about their meet up. There was part of me that wanted to already give up. I didn’t want to look like the desperate one but then I couldn’t stop myself from coming.
• “Kayden!” I call after him as he gets to his car but he doesn’t stop until I grab a hold of his hand and he halts, turning towards me.
