• AYANA’s POV.
• The nerve of that guy! The audacity of him to actually hold onto me and pull me to himself, the way he gripped my waist and stared into my eyes. I wavered for a moment when I was in his arms and it was stupid of me. I shouldn’t have done that, I shouldn’t have let him see that tiny part of me. That asshole! I want to hold him by the neck and sniff the air out of his lungs.
• “Baby?” Jack’s voice jolts me out of my train of thought and I gently turn my head to him, he has a soft smile on his face and I find myself smiling back at him.
