Chapter 18

• The moment they arrived, people started to murmur around. Earl sighed. After Scarlet introduced herself as Zachary's future wife, everyone's jaw dropped. Just like Earl, nobody expected for such things to happen all of a sudden. And Earl was curious as hell, he was bugging Zachary about it but the latter seemed to have turned into a stone. He won't even speak, he was just letting Scarlet drag him with her everywhere. It was clear that day that Zachary wasn't acting like himself. Something must have happened, Earl thought to himself as he observed his best friend from afar.
• For the following days, this continued to happen, it happened again and again until everyone seemed to treat Scarlet as if she was a student in G University, too. She was warmly welcomed by everyone, especially by the Ballet Team, probably because of her doll-like face and body.
• "You're so pretty, Scarlet," one of the Ballet Team, named Lisa, commented.
