Chapter 17

• Zachary wasn't the type to be enthralled by the sea but somehow, right now, he was enjoying looking at it as he sat under a tree, away from his other teammates who were doing some games in the water with their Coach. He had never expected himself to be emotionally absorbed by the scenery before him. Or maybe because something unexpected happened and he just didn't know how to deal with it and the scenery was a good escape.
• It had been a few hours since that time in Kathryn's room and Zachary, Zachary felt lost.
• He felt numb. He wanted to cry and feel his emotions even if he would look like an emotional bitch. Kathryn's words were the worst words Zachary had ever heard in his life. Not even the neglect from his parents could make him feel like this. Maybe that was the reason why he couldn't feel anything. He wasn't expecting all of these to happen to him. He wasn't ready. He didn't know what kind of emotion he was supposed to feel.
