Chapter 49 Know Your Place

• Simone and the warriors escorted me all the way to the house I lived in the past. At the same time, I used the opportunity to observe the changes in the pack that happened over time after my banishment.
• ‘Not much difference...’ I note inwardly as a familiar house began appearing in view a moment later. A sense of nostalgia fills my insides as I gaze upon the very house I used to live in the past.
• Once we reached the front door, Simone dismisses the warriors while I take my time to enter the house. As my footsteps touch the doorway, memories of my last night in this house resurfaced in my head.
