• My days in the elder council were actually comfortable, mostly thanks to Alaric, who I did not expect to be very accommodating. Exactly as he mentioned, he took Lucian and I on a tour around the elder council and also some nice places in Kansas.
• Lucian, who can be quite reserved to strangers, quickly opened up to Alaric and even started calling him Uncle sweetly.
