Chapter 40 Plotting
- The fire in the large hall crackled as the smell of burning pinewood filled the stone room where Sherlock was taking his bath. A river passes through the huge stone cave and flows deeper into the pack's forest but he managed to set it up in such a way that it formed a bathtub for him and the water he bathes with flows towards another exit, not mixing with the one flowing out.
- The shadows of the maids, soldiers, and candles moved on the wall as they set up his bath and gave him what he needed at every point. No one wants to get on his bad side, considering how he would tear them to pieces or make them food for his dogs. The huge wooden door opened, parting the black wolf carved into each side into two, as Rachel came in to give her report for the mission.
- Rachel knelt on one knee in front of the raised platform. Her cloak was still dusty from the burned carts, and her assistant stood quietly beside her. After about five minutes, Sherlock came out of the water and sat in a big carved chair, one leg resting over the side.
