Chapter 62

• Every other people laughed. I have never felt so embarrassed. I was hurt that tears were about to fall from my eyes. I look around for my purse and when I saw it, I picked it up. I left the party heading to God knows where. Tears rolled out of my eyes freely. The fact that he just won over me made my insides churn with anger.
• I felt like there was nothing I could do. I felt like he had that power over me. He just embarrassed me right there as if nothing happened. How could he say such a thing to me? That bastard. Coming to this party was a bad idea from the start. I should have just stayed home and studied. Coming here was such a waste. I didn't benefit from anything.
• I stood on the balcony of some room that I don't even know the owner of. I entered there when I don't have anywhere to go. I dialled Mr Alex's number. I told him to come pick me up. He would be here anytime soon. Just then the door opened. It was him. He came here to find me again. Why can't he just leave me alone?
