Chapter 37

• She glared at me once she caught what I just said "you bitch!" She yelled and gave me a hard kick on my stomach. Air escaped my lips from the hit and it felt like my intestines had turned to mush, I couldn't feel my body again; it felt like it belonged to someone else and only my brain my functioning to comprehend what was happening around me so I laughed again and that infuriated her the more as she began to hit me nonstop in frustration while I just laughed after every hit like I was truly a maniac. I still caught Edna's wailing and screams as I was hit on and on but I couldn't even look at her, my vision was covered with my blood and my body was literally paralysed to even move.
• My body got to its limit, it had already taken all the hits it could take and began to shut down. I didn't know if I was dying or just going unconscious again but everything was just a loud ring in my ears, my head just hung from my neck and it was difficult to even breathe so I just gave in to the black dots that slowly invaded my sight… until I heard howling and this howling sounded different and meant war.
• Werewolves only howled like this for war; I knew from what I had covered. Melissa stopped hitting me and turned around to see where the howling was coming from. I began to fight the dizziness that was taking over me and struggled to raise my head so I could see what was happening through my blurred vision, it wasn't going to be clear enough but I could see a bit of it.
