Chapter 103

• The door opened and Asher, Tommy and Shalom walked in. I was sure they heard my screaming. "What's happening?" Asher asked and saw the mess too when he got to the bathroom with Tommy and Shalom close behind him.
• I rested my back on the wall and slid down till I was seated on the floor of the bathroom and bent my head in between my legs but I could tell Asher, scratch that, I knew everyone was staring at me with shock. They'd never seen me this way.
• "Maya what's wrong?" Asher asked me after Edna had briefed him on what happened after she entered.
