Chapter 19

• It was confusing and amusing, how she wanted something but didn't want it again when it was offered to her. Then I remembered how we almost kissed, it was a real struggle… staring at her plump lips but trying not to kiss her because it was too soon.
• I could feel the heat when our bodies were glued to each other, with her against the wall and her eyes flaming with want. I was sure she didn't even know she was looking at me that way but I could see it and it gladdened my heart to know she felt it too, the pull and wanting to take each other there and then.
• It was really a struggle not to place my mark on her at that moment and claim her as mine… all these memories flooded my head and I couldn't help but groan again, frustrated at how much I missed her and just wanted to hold her tight in my arms and inhale her scent that took me to great heights.
