I’ve been wondering why the poor woman hasn’t been recovering. I thought it was just shock at first, but I can smell it,” Fallon guts out, furious, just as livid as she was when she stormed into the temple and witnessed my mother’s wrath. “Salt. Black salt. I’m sure it was used as a binder for whatever spell kept her subdued enough for your father to torture her.” She glances at Jason, but he doesn’t look up from his hands. “I don’t have what I need to fix this, but the coven will.”
