Chapter 10 : He Must Have Split Personality Disorder

  • Ling Xier disdainfully glanced at Lin Wancheng and arrogantly sneered, "New here? You don't even know who I am? I'm Ling Xier! Move aside, you clueless thing!"
  • Lin Wancheng didn't get angry at her rudeness and put on a professional smile. "Miss Ling Xier, do you have an appointment?"
  • Just yesterday, she had finished her job responsibilities and it was absolutely forbidden to let anyone into the office without an appointment.
  • Ling Xier became annoyed. Even if it was Star Chen Group, who in the entire Jiangcheng didn't know that she was Shen Sicen's childhood sweetheart? How could this employee with a seductive face not understand her manners!
  • "Just you wait!"
  • She threatened fiercely and took out her phone to make a call.
  • After the call connected, her tone completely changed to a coquettish one, making Lin Wancheng's bones turn to jelly.
  • "Brother Sicen, I came all the way here just to see you. Why won't this ignorant secretary let me in?"
  • She continued to whine and complain, and the automatic password door to the CEO's office opened.
  • Ling Xier proudly lifted her chin and bumped into Lin Wancheng's shoulder as she walked in.
  • "Brother Sicen, look at her. She was so fierce when she stopped me. She scared me! How could you hire such a rude and aggressive secretary? Wouldn't that affect the company's image?"
  • Lin Wancheng chuckled and was about to explain, but Shen Sicen glanced at her and said, "I was talking to you, didn't you hear? Go away, don't be a nuisance here!"
  • Lin Wancheng snorted inwardly and went downstairs. She didn't want to listen to Ling Xier's nauseating voice resonating from her uvula.
  • After making coffee and returning to the secretary department, she still had unfinished documents in her hands when the supervisor walked in and made an announcement.
  • "Just now, the CEO praised the new employee, Lin Wancheng. She works very diligently and responsibly, unlike some old employees who act on their own and often neglect simple basic work. Let this be a warning to all of you, don't let just anyone into the CEO's office!"
  • The employees in the secretary department looked at Lin Wancheng with strange gazes. Lin Wancheng raised a folder to cover her face and rolled her eyes.
  • At lunchtime, she hurriedly met with Lan Xue and didn't have time to say a few words. Lin Wancheng made plans to have dinner with her at a restaurant near the company.
  • "You know, is our boss crazy? He just criticized me in front of his mistress, and then he praised me in our department. He must have split personality disorder! I wonder if he has ever seen a doctor. Tsk, his condition seems severe and hard to cure."
  • After drinking half a bottle of beer, Lin Wancheng became talkative and passionately vented her frustrations.
  • Lan Xue nodded in agreement, about to speak in agreement, but she saw someone behind Lin Wancheng and couldn't say a word.
  • "Hush...don't say anything!" She gestured frantically, her face filled with fear.
  • Lin Wancheng didn't understand yet, but Shen Sicen had already walked past her, giving her a deep look as if he wanted to drown her in his eyes.
  • Xiao Yu behind them clicked his tongue a few times, finding it both funny and sympathetic.
  • Lin Wancheng's face drooped. How could she have expected that these two people would coincidentally be here too! And she had cursed so harshly!
  • Realizing that offending her boss meant she couldn't continue working at this company, she submitted her resignation to the supervisor early the next morning.
  • "Xiao Lin, why are you resigning? Is there something bothering you? The CEO just ordered a raise and promotion for you."
  • "A raise?" Lin Wancheng was completely stunned. "Why?"
  • The supervisor smiled mysteriously but didn't answer.
  • When she brought coffee to the office, Lin Wancheng awkwardly thanked him.
  • "Um, CEO, thank you. But why did you give me a raise?"
  • Shen Sicen glanced at her and said meaningfully, "Perhaps it's because of my split personality?"
