• And her whole body trembles against me. I pull back just enough to look at her, I’m still inside of her, and I’m not ready just yet to pull out.
• “What’s wrong?” I ask.
• “Nothing.” She quickly says but I don’t believe her. So I make her look at me as I repeat the question and wait for her to give me an actual answer. She sighs. “You’ve never held me. Or just comforted me after… you know. You’ve always pulled away like I disgust you. That’s all.”
