• Rock squinted his eyes in disgust. It was true that when he was young, he was so infatuated with Amanda because she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He knew she wasn't his mate but never thought there could be any woman more beautiful than her. Not only him but the other Alphas, including Alpha Jax, also had a striking liking for Amanda.
• Alphas were always obsessed with proving who was better than the other, to the extent of flaunting their mates. This resulted in a challenge between Alpha Jax and Rock. They tried to prove who deserved Amanda.
