Chapter 16 One night with you and your mate will have your mark back

• Steel was standing at the entrance, his back against the door when Godiva descended the stairs, struggling with her luggage. She seemed to need help with her stylish travelling bag but no help located her at the moment. 
• From Steel's posture, Godiva discerned that he was going to prevent her from leaving. "You will not stop me," she yelled from up the stairs but Steel just peered at her with a confusing glare, unmoved. Seeing him so relaxed, she was conflicted.
• "I'm not going to stop you but I just need you to think about your own safety," he retorted, still blocking the doorway. He sounded indifferent but the warmth in his eyes spoke millions.
