Chapter 15 I don't need money, I need my mate

• Godiva had five more days to turn eighteen but wasn't as excited as accompanying Rock as his secretary for one day. To remind her of her duty, she dressed for the occasion but perhaps too tempting. She had no idea what her outfit was doing to the man beside her.
• Rock didn't seem so cold today but for his mate not bearing his mark was weighing heavily on him. He wanted her to carry his scent everywhere for everyone to know she was his. Five days seemed to him like five years. He did not exhibit so much patience but it seemed obvious since he met Godiva that he had changed. His level of self-control and maturity had brought him this far. But the sins of the past still lingered in the darkest part of his mind.
• He didn't have much to do in the office today, only going to sign some very important documents to give authorization. He had reliable people as managers and directors, some of which were humans. He planned on spending a few hours in the office, then taking Godiva to hang out a little. He didn't want her to continue in boredom. It would only worsen matters since Godiva had no one but him, Steel and Xena who were equally busy with work and school respectively.
