Chapter 36 Exactly Like Their Sons

• Terry took Luna to a table where a group of men sat drinking wine. Henry, Hiro’s father, was mid-story, his voice loud and full of laughter. Ulysses, Xynth’s father, sat still, listening intently but saying nothing. Luna got the impression he wasn’t the chatty type. Fred smiled but didn’t interject. As Terry and Luna approached, the men shifted to make space for them.
• "Everyone, this is Luna. She’s here to meet with Victoria," Terry said after they took their seats. She sat between Luna and Fred, with Victoria on Luna’s other side. Henry and Ulysses sat together. The men introduced themselves, except for Fred.
• "Why aren’t your partners here today? Did you guys have a fight?" Terry asked.
