Chapter 35 Stick Out Like A Sore Thumb

• The first thing Luna did when she went back to work was to ask for permission to leave work on Friday.
• Ms. Lucia allowed her under the condition that she finish the work assigned to her by then. Luna readily agreed to that condition. She trusted herself to be able to finish the tasks given to her. Since she successfully cleared her schedule, she immediately informed Terry. After the call, Luna went back to her work worry-free.
• Luna's days in the company had been uneventful ever since Terrence and Lily were fired. Other interns hardly bothered her because she belonged to a different department. They did not consider her as a threat so they left her alone while she was working. She only interacted with them during lunch and break times. Because no one bothered her, Luna was able to finish her tasks by Thursday.
