Chapter 42 Leaving Us

The hallway floor turned out to be the worst bed I've ever laid on, my back turned stiff when i woke up this morning from where I passed out after Tricia shut me out. I stumbled out before dawn, all in attempt to avoid her, knowing how bad I messed up.
It was my birthday, and I left my girls waiting, while I got dragged into drinks with Dr. Olivia and some of the hospital crew. Tricia’s face told me how hurt she was when i finally got home, I don’t know how to fix it, or how to say that I'm sorry for making her feel like she didn’t matter.
