Chapter 25 Double Shame
- TRICIA
- The curtains in my room windows kept dancing as the breeze blew, I shifted one of them aside, putting my face in-between the iron protector to check the street, if I'll see Donald's car, but the street is empty. My wristwatch reads 6:52 p.m., almost two hours past when he's suppose to be back.
- I returned to my bed again full of worries. Donald calls or texts me, anytime he's not going to make it to the house early. If an emergency surgery comes up, the Donald I know always drops a voice note, before entering into the theatre, so what's going on today?.
