Chapter 9
- Justin's Pov
- To be honest, my feelings for Olivia didn't just hit me like a ton of bricks overnight. It was a slow burn, one that built up over time. When she first moved in with her mum and me, I didn't think twice about it, I was programmed to respect boundaries - she was 19, and I was old enough to know better than to cross any lines. But as time went on, I started to see her in a different light.
- Or was it pity I felt for the young girl?
- Olivia and I became close, we had the father-daughter bond and I was grateful for that opportunity, as she never gave any of her mother's exes that. However, I felt pity for her mostly, especially when she shared the traumatic thing that caused her slight hatred for Mary.
- Before I had gone to pick Olivia from school five years ago, Mary had always confided in me about her daughter. However, they were not good things.
- "She locked my ex-husband, Leo, in a room one day and set him on fire. Thank goodness I was home before she could call the cops." My wife had told me the evening before the day I was meant to pick up Olivia from school. While Mary coddled me, her hand trailed my chest and she continued. "She's dangerous, that girl. I'm scared she will send you off too, just like she provoked others to leave me."
- It didn't make me scared of the tough teenager, but only kept me amused enough to meet with Olivia. Mary was shocked to see that we had gotten along on the first day and although she was excited, she failed to show it in the presence of her daughter.
- One year later, Olivia was twenty and finally bold enough to tell me what happened with Leo. "He had touched me inappropriately, it was not once…" her voice broke. "I only wanted him dead. Mother would not even believe me"
- I had consoled her that day and took her shopping to get her mind off the past. She had called me the best stepdad and said Mary was lucky to have me. All I wanted to do was protect her.
- Except that night - when the desire to strip her naked clouded me.
- It was her twenty-first birthday party and Mary had sent Olivia and her friends out of the house because of their drinking and excessive partying. Olivia had called me instantly for an impromptu location and I told her and her friends to meet me at the guest house where I was relieving tension for business.
- She had reached the luxurious guest house with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and lavishly decorated rooms. She sent for more people to the party.
- In my room, on the second floor, I stood behind the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoying the view of the private pool they were using.
- And there she was emerging from the pool, droplets of water glinting on her skin, and her wet hair swung behind her like a downpour. My eyes widened and my breath caught in my throat.
- Her bikini clung to her curves, accentuating her shape. As she tilted her head to twirl her hair, her eyes met mine, like time stood still, all I could do was stare.
- My heart had seized. Could she see me staring at her lustfully? Was I like Leo? Would I pass on the same trauma from her former stepdad? I didn't want our bond to break, What were all these thoughts?
- She took her eyes off me and continued talking with her friends. A guy had come up behind her, holding her tiny waist. I picked up my cigarette, lit it, and then poured myself a drink, before walking off.
- It wasn't over.
- Electric laughter, a whiff of alcohol, and loud music filled the bottom floor where the party was held. When I walked in there, no one seemed to notice. They were all engrossed in their drinking and their dancing.
- I scanned through the room looking for the birthday girl. "Get me in the mood, sexy boy!" One of the drunk girls yelled beside me, her hand plastered to my chest. I spiraled my way out of their dance floor, looking for my stepdaughter. The impulse to protect her was the only thing on my mind.
- "Justin." Her voice pierced into my thoughts as she rushed over to me, She was still in the same bikini I had seen her in earlier. "Justin, want to grab a drink?" She asked with a drunken voice, pushing a glass of drink to my mouth.
- I clenched the glass tighter and took the drink away from her. "You've drunk enough, Olivia," I told her.
- She jumped on me and I instinctively held her back for balance. "I like the way you call my name," she said in my ear.
- "You won't like the way your mom calls it when I get her on the phone." I threatened.
- She frowned and lay her head on my shoulders, sniffing my neck. I felt her tongue on my skin and I tilted my head so she could stop. "You're the fun parent, don't ruin my day," she whined like a toddler, and then jumped off my body. "Let's dance, Justin."
- Before I could say no, she had arched her buttock to me, ensuring to press it against my pants and she had started to wiggle her waist, her butt cheeks grinding against my already hard self.
- I stood there unable to do anything but gawk seductively at Olivia. Her hand reached out to mine, ensuring I placed it on her tiny waist while she continued to grind against me rhythmically.
- My body had failed me, as I continued to grow harder for my stepdaughter. I didn't want this to stop. She rubbed all her body against mine while dancing and even wrapped her hand around my neck, allowing me to sniff her bare skin.
- I wanted her that night. And I knew this new attraction was never going to leave.
