Chapter 22

• Chris watched her walk through the room, noticing with every step she took the way the material swayed suggestively across her backside. The way she smiled politely whenever someone looked at her made him proud that she was here with him.
• He watched her place a hand on Greg’s shoulder as she walked by the table, leaning down to speak briefly to him. He noticed that Greg smiled a real smile and patted her hand.
• Lorne cleared his throat until Chris turned to look at him. “Quite the lady you have there, Chris.”
